Privacy policy
The short version: we collect your email address if you give it to us, we use it to send you what you asked for, and we do not sell it to anyone. The longer version is below.
Who is responsible for your data
Creative Sauce Ltd is the data controller for understandagi.co.uk. We are registered in England and Wales, Company No. 12582512, VAT No. GB365544675, based in London. For anything to do with your data, write to hello@creativesauceai.com.
What we collect
If you subscribe, we collect your email address, and the page you subscribed from so we know which of our sites brought you here. Nothing else is required. We do not ask for your name, your employer or anything about you.
If you accepted analytics, we also collect anonymised usage data: which pages were visited, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what kind of device it was on. This is not linked to your email address. Our cookie policy sets out exactly what that covers.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). You gave us your email address so we would send you something. You can withdraw that consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, and we will stop.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of processors, each of which sees only what it needs to:
- Brevo stores the mailing list and sends the emails.
- Supabase stores a record of the signup so we can see which of our sites people came from.
- Google Analytics 4 processes anonymised usage data, and only if you accepted analytics.
- SiteGround hosts this website. Cloudflare handles the domain name records.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it for anyone else's marketing, and we do not enrich it with information bought from third parties.
How long we keep it
Your email address stays on the list until you unsubscribe, or until you have not opened anything from us for two years, at which point we remove it. Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Signup records are deleted when the corresponding email address is removed from the list.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop using it, or object to how we are using it. Write to hello@creativesauceai.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
This policy is written for transparency, not as legal advice. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor. If you are relying on it for your own purposes, take your own advice.
